Jason's World

Well we are at that time once again, in which the air is warm and smells of cut grass and flowers. This means we are at a point in which there is a chapter ending in some of our youth’s lives and a new one beginning. At the end of the month, we will be having graduation parties to go to, along with the graduation ceremonies for our seniors. This year, I think, is the toughest year so far for me to see our seniors graduate. This is the class that started my youth ministry out. They had just been promoted to the Jr. High Class when I arrived. I’ve seen them grow from the little 5th graders to the ambitious seniors they are today. Even though we will be celebrating with them as they graduate, I think the ultimate celebration will be in the many things they will be doing afterward. The lives they will be touching and helping. We have a bunch of young adults in our midst that will not be afraid to demonstrate God’s love for the people around them. Young adults that, when they see a need, want to take care of it. They have refined themselves, and continue to refine themselves, in God’s fire. They will be a great asset to the world around them. Whether they become teachers, doctors, youth ministers, or whatever is on their hearts. The class of 2010 will be a great force to deal with. Congrats, class of 2010! We are so proud of you and all you have accomplished thus far. We can’t wait to see the great things you’ll do in your future!
